Notary Public Signature Fees & Rates Schedule

General Fees:

Acknowledgements $15.00 per signature
For taking an acknowledgment (often used to certify the identity of the document signer, for example, documents such as deeds, power of attorneys, and other documents) not requiring an oath to be administered
 
Jurats $15.00 per signature
For administering a written oath (when it is necessary to certify that the signer has sworn that the document contents are true, often used for documents such as affidavits and certified copies of documents)
 
Certified Copy of Power of Attorney $15.00 per copy
Copy of Journal Entry $ 0.30 per page
For a certified copy $10.00 per request
For providing a copy of a line item in the notary's journal.  
Vote by mail ballot identification envelopes NO CHARGE
U.S. Military veteran benefit claim NO CHARGE
For a pension, allotment, allowance, compensation, insurance, or any other veteran's benefit.  
Providing Prepared Forms for Proper Notarial Wording NO CHARGE
For providing a prepared form (i.e., Jurat; Acknowledgement) that must be attached to a document that does not contain proper notarial wording or does not contain notarial wording suitable for use in California, when used in the course of performing a notarial act.  
  
Loan Documents - Single Set $50-175
For one set of loan documents (new loan, refinance) during one signing appointment. Fee is dependent upon number of documents to notarize and number of signers.  
Loan Documents - Additional Set $25-150
For each additional set of loan documents during the same appointment (i.e. second mortgage or equity line of credit.) Fee is dependent upon number of documents to notarize and number of signers.  
Loan Document Packages $100-250
For one set of loan documents sent from a client (signing company, lender, title co.)
Fee is dependent upon number of documents to notarize and number of signers.
Services include: Follow detailed instructions from client; Verify loan package complete; Meet with borrower(s) to sign documents; Notarize necessary forms; Make copies of all documents for the borrower(s); Mail original loan documents to specified destination.

Travel Fees:

For providing Mobile Notary Public services to you. Notary fees are separate from travel fees. Travel fees are based on mileage one-way using google maps. [Calculate Distance]
Travel Fees for meeting at designated location

Travel Fees for up to 5 miles one-way
$20
For every mile thereafter + $2 per mile
For After Hours Service (10pm - 8am) + $10
For Holiday Service (New Year's Eve after 7pm, New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day) + $20
For travel to a jail/prison, airport, hotel, hospital, rehab/care facility PLEASE CALL
For additional Travel Fees not mentioned above (parking, toll, etc.) + $EXTRA

Other Fees:

Excess Wait Time
$10 per every 15 minutes beginning 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time
At time of appointment all signing parties and documents to be notarized must be present. Should the notary be required to wait more than 30 minutes beyond the scheduled appointment time an Excess Wait Time fee will be charged.  
No Show/No Sign $10 minimum
Once the notary has arrived and the signing does not take place due to no fault of the notary a no show/no sign fee shall apply in addition to any travel, excess wait time, and/or other additional processing fees due.
